Forget Rossi, Lorenzo Embrace

Yamaha team boss Masao Furusawa claimed no regrets off Valentino Rossi to Ducati next season began. According to him, without Rossi's Yamaha was still able to appear dominant in the MotoGP event, because they now have another strong rider, Jorge Lorenzo.

Furusawa is one figure long enough to know Rossi. Both have been working together for seven years to build the Yamaha up to be able to reach four world titles. Now, after Rossi decided to leave Ducati, Yamaha predicted many people would come back sluggish as the years before Rossi arrived.

However, these assumptions have a direct rebuttal of Furusawa firmly believe that Yamaha would still shine. Team boss who will reportedly retire this confirms start of next season now Yamaha has a tough race, that Lorenzo is ready to replace the era of the triumph of The Doctor.

"Statistics show that Jorge (Lorenzo) will shine. In summer 2008, Jorge won one race, while Rossi won nine series. One season ago (2009), Jorge champion in four races and Rossi won six races. Based on these statistics, you can conclude for yourself what will happen in 2010 and possibly future, "he said as quoted Motorcycle Furusawa, Saturday (08/21/2010).

"I think Jorge main strength this season lies in the stability and tactics applied in each series. I know, Rossi is still strong enough as in the past. He may still feel the pain from the injury, but their performance is still quite nice and also very strong mentally. But, Lorenzo also had a great ability that is not less of it, "said Furusawa.
